About Roosevelt School District No. 66
Roosevelt serves south Phoenix through a network dominated by K–8 community schools and academy-design campuses.
Many students can remain at one site through the middle grades, while school themes in STEM, leadership, arts, or language shape the daily program across several years. Boundary assignment and open enrollment determine which campus model becomes the student’s primary route.
Success Academy provides a more intensive district setting for students who need additional behavioral and academic support. It is a specialized placement within the K–8 system, separate from the ordinary neighborhood route. Roosevelt’s legal authority stops after eighth grade; every campus and support pathway ends at eighth grade, followed by enrollment in a separate secondary district.
