Marana Unified School District Calendar 2027-2028

Marana’s broad K–12 system contains more than one physical ladder. Ten elementary schools and three K–8 campuses feed two middle schools and several distinct secondary settings, so address and school model can change the number of campus moves.

Marana High and Mountain View High are the two comprehensive high-school destinations. MCAT is an alternative high-school setting built around individualized progress for nontraditional students; its current homepage says grades 10–12, while its About page still lists 9–12, so the lowest eligible grade is not documented consistently. Marana Vista is a personalized, in-person grades 9–12 campus whose students remain concurrently enrolled at Marana or Mountain View High and may use those campuses for athletics, activities, or specialty courses.

Marana Distance Learning provides full-time online instruction for grades 6–12. The district may count Marana High, Mountain View, MCAT, and Vista together as four high schools, but their roles are not interchangeable: attendance-area, alternative, personalized/concurrent, and online routes use different enrollment and scheduling rules.
