About Balsz Elementary School District #31
Balsz has a simple in-person ladder and one full online branch. Orangedale Early Learning Center is the preschool entry point; Brunson-Lee, Crockett, and Griffith serve K–5; Pat Tillman Middle School receives grades 6–8. Students following that route meet a districtwide middle-school cohort after years in smaller elementary communities.
Balsz Online Academy is a K–8 district school whose students use it as their primary instructional setting. The in-person and online routes are two complete K–8 models, and both end at the same district boundary: ninth-grade placement must be established in another school system.
